Agreement to these terms

This website is operated by Peticulaire Petcare LLC, trading as The Canine Project®. By using thecanineprojectus.com or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. We currently sell and ship within the United States only.

Our products

We make grooming and skin care preparations for dogs. They are cosmetic grooming products. They are not medicines and they are not veterinary products. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.

Nothing on this site is veterinary advice. If your dog has a skin condition, an injury, or is under veterinary care, speak to your veterinarian before using any new grooming product.

Our products are made exclusively for dogs and are for external use only.

Product information and images

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Photographs and illustrations are representative, and color can vary between screens. Ingredient lists and directions are printed on every pack, and the pack is the authoritative version.

Prices and availability

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change without notice. We may correct pricing or description errors, and we may limit or refuse quantities, at any time. Products are offered subject to availability.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a confirmation that the order has shipped. Until then we may decline or cancel an order, including where a product is unavailable, where there is an error in the listing, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund it.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. By submitting an order you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method.

Shipping, delivery and risk

Shipping terms are set out on our shipping page. Delivery estimates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier takes possession of the parcel.

Returns and refunds

Reviews and anything you submit

If you post a review or send us content, you confirm it is your own and that it is truthful. You give us permission to publish, edit for length or clarity, and reuse it in connection with the business. We may decline to publish, or remove, anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, or that makes medical claims about our products.

Intellectual property

The Canine Project®, BEST BARKIN’ WIPES®, BEYOND THE FUR®, DAILY RE:FRESH.®, FURVIVE™ and COPAIBOPLEX™, together with the site’s text, photography, illustration and design, belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, scrape it, or use it to transmit malicious code.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a third party, we are not responsible for that site or its content.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its content are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded under applicable law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of New York have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you place an order is the version that applies to it.
